Description:
A fantastic find of a three-bedroom house, occupying a corner plot in the heart of leafy Wanstead. With generously proportioned rooms, it sits encircled on three sides by secure and private garden. This is a great home to move right into, which offers bags of potential for a family to make their own.

Along with the grand expanse of garden, this property has its own garage with parking space at the front. It’s a cinch to get out of town in the car from here, with the North Circular just a few minutes away. There’s no sacrificing serenity either, as you’re sitting on a quiet street with a high hedge bordering your home.

If you lived here…

You’ll pass between the hedges, and walk up the garden path to your front porch. There’s a stretch of lawn to each side of you. Once into the hallway you’ll find your reception on the right. It offers more than 350 square foot of space, with grey-blue carpet underfoot and cornicing to the ceiling. There’s a traditional-style mantelpiece and marble hearth, and no fewer than three windows. So much room here for relaxing as you like.

Past the handy downstairs WC, you’ll find your 130 square foot kitchen diner. There’s more hardwearing carpet underfoot, an abundance of walnut-shaded units, and expanses of worktop. More than enough room to eat here as well as cook. Double doors take you out into one of the three garden areas. A covered patio area gives way to steps up to a neat lawn. There are two raised beds, secure fencing, and a side gate through which you’ll get to your garage.

Back inside and up the stairs, you’ll find yourself on your calm carpeted landing. Here you’ll find your three bedrooms and bathroom. Your master bedroom is 155 square foot, with soft cream walls and dark carpet underfoot. Next to that is your 105 square foot second bedroom, with soft carpet underfoot, a wall of built-in wardrobes, and slate grey walls.

You’ll find your bathroom next to that. It’s around sixty square foot, with a large shower tub, modern white suite, grey marbled tiling underfoot, and a large window to bathe the space in light. Lastly there’s your third bedroom of just over ninety square foot, painted in cool blue grey with carpet underfoot.

Your neighbourhood is the friendly and peaceful Wanstead Village, bordered by Snaresbrook and South Woodford. Snaresbrook and Wanstead underground stations are each less than a fifteen minute walk away, taking you to Stratford in ten minutes and Liverpool Street in under half an hour. Wanstead High Street is less than half a mile from you, and a little further than that is the calm oasis of Christ Church Green.

What else?

- Make yourself a home from your new home at the stately Nightingale on the Green, a locals’ favourite with a superb pub menu.
- There are green spaces galore to choose from here, whether you want to meet your feathered neighbours at Eagle Pond within a mile, or walk along the River Roding to Roding Valley Park.
- Schools rated outstanding nearby include Aldersbrook, Wanstead Church School, and Nightingale Primary.

A word from the owner...

"We really loved living in Wanstead. We found living right between two central line tube stops really handy for getting in and out of central London for work and leisure. Central line forks and we were always fortunate enough to be able to get onto any central line train living there. It also served us well for getting to the A406/M11/M25 which we also used for work and getting around. Getting off at Snarebrook was a quick walk home, and getting off at Wanstead always brought a sense of ‘calm’ after the hustle and bustle of central London. The high street and the open parkland opposite was always a draw for us too. It‘s proximity to Stratford and the connections that gave us, also served us well, as travelling is a great part of what we do/who we are."
