In the Sysladobsis Lakeand The Grand Lake Stream region salmon and bass abound. Brook Trout are alsoavailable to test even the most experienced fly fisherman in the nearby pondsand streams. Currently open from May thru the end of September. Boats, canoes,kayaks, and motors are available at the lodge. Years of history and sportingtraditions have welcomed guests such as Andrew Carnegie and Calvin Coolidge tosavor the magic and serenity of 'The Pines' on Sysladobsis Lake. The DowneastLakes Land Trust has put thousands of acres in conservation to remain foreverwild.
