Description

Comments from the owner:
What do you love most about your home? We were drawn to our house because we love Victorian houses, as they have such high ceilings and big bay windows. It has a lot of natural light and feels very spacious. And we love having fresh fruit from the pear and apple trees in the garden. Being able to cycle to central London in 30 minutes is convenient for work, but getting the train only takes 15 minutes to Liverpool Street which helps when it's raining.

Why are you moving? We chose to live here because it is so convenient for work, but now we're planning to start a family and we'd like to move closer to our parents.

What do you love about the area? We're such a short walk from Wanstead Flats and the beautiful Wanstead Park, which has been particularly great during Lockdown. We walk around the park every day and at weekends we cycle up around Epping Forest; it feels like living in the countryside! But at the same time we have all the convenience of Stratford on our doorstep. There are also some great independent coffee shops, restaurants and microbreweries popping up in the area.

Property Details:
Accommodation comprises entrance hall with access to under-hall cellar and stairs rising to the first floor, leading into the bright and spacious dual aspect double length reception room with attractive bay window, beautiful wood flooring (evident throughout the ground floor), and ample space for relaxing and entertaining. To the rear of the property, the beautiful open plan kitchen/diner is flooded with natural light from dual aspect windows and door out to the private garden. The kitchen area itself comprises a modern range of matching wall and base units with work surfaces, breakfast bar and metro-tiled splash-back, incorporating inset sink unit and further space for appliances. A lobby area offers access out to the garden via a useful guest WC. To the first floor, there are three well proportioned bedrooms, with feature bay to the full width master, plus a modern family bathroom with contemporary style white suite and elegant tiling.

The property is enviably located in a popular residential road just a short walk from Manor Park and Woodgrange Park stations, as well as a host of regular bus routes, all providing excellent cross-London links. There are an array of shops, cafes, bars, restaurants and amenities within easy reach, and the area is well served by good local schools and open spaces.
