Description

This stylish and practical 3 bedroomed end terrace holiday home enjoys an intriguing exterior aesthetic, peaceful rural views and is within 2 miles of Falmouth town and sandy beaches.

PROPERTY
This beautiful 3 bedroomed end terrace is one of a handful of barns at the end of a private drive and overlooks Falmouth Golf Course. Enjoying generously proportioned rooms, this property is perfectly arranged and located for its use as a holiday home. Cedar is nestled into a peaceful, rural position whilst being conveniently located just 2 miles from Falmouth Town centre and closer to a selection of beautiful sandy beaches (Maenporth 1.5miles, Swanpool less than 1 mile and Gyllyngvase less than 1.5 miles via Swanpool and the stunning Coastal Footpath).

Cedar uniquely boasts a barrelled roof design which not only makes for an architecturally intriguing approach to the property, but it creates a wonderful sense of space with the part glazed gable end increasing the level of light flooding into the first floor. An aesthetically pleasing exterior of hard wood cladding is quite a unique design for Cornwall but provides a sense of style and comfort that features throughout the property. The soft material finish allows this intimate cul-de-sac of holiday homes to blend into its rural surroundings enhancing the sense of privacy, just perfect for a tranquil retreat.

The property enjoys a great sense of space. The generous tiled entrance hall opens to the sizable kitchen/breakfast room to the front which is excellently equipped with a beautiful range of matching wooden floor and wall cabinetry in an L-shape. Inset appliances include a dishwasher, washing machine and fridge/freezer. There is also a fan oven, 4 ring gas hob, tiled splashback and extractor hood over. There is ample storage and worktop space which is tastefully finished in polished black granite. Generous floor space leaves ample room for a breakfast table and chairs making this a stylish and practical room for a holiday home/let. Further to the ground floor is a pleasantly appointed cloakroom with w/c and wash hand basin.

The living/dining room to the rear of the property is an excellent room of great proportions and light and benefits from a south/south west facing window and double doors that open to the decked sun terrace. This is an extremely comfortable and sociable living room with plenty of space for furniture.

Borrowed light from the interesting roof design floods the first floor landing and creates a great sense of space felt throughout this floor. Accommodation comprises three good sized bedrooms including a master en-suite and a family bathroom. The master bedroom enjoys a gorgeous elevated countryside view and also looks out onto the golf course. It’s en-suite shower room is well appointed with a double shower cubicle, w/c and wash handbasin with tiled floor and part tiled walls. Bedroom two and 3 are both good doubles with the third to the rear enjoying the same views as the master.

OUTSIDE
The rear and side garden is the largest in this terrace and offers a gorgeous south/south westerly space to enjoy. A substantial decked area immediately to the rear of the property and a further lawned area to the side appreciate a stunning elevated view of rolling countryside and active golf course and plenty of room for holiday alfresco dining. Side access to the rear garden from the parking area for 2 cars which is directly next to the property is a big benefit of the end terrace position. The extra outside space is great for a shed for beachside belongings. There is further guest parking in the courtyard.

N.B
Cedar is restricted for holiday use only so can be a private holiday home, a holiday letting business or both.
