Description

A light, bright and brilliantly renovated four bedroom terraced house, nestling peacefully on a residential side street in E10.

This 1200 square foot home has plenty of space for the growing family, both communal and private, as well as exquisite finishes and detail throughout. The ground floor is predominantly comprised of two large, family friendly spaces – the lounge and the kitchen diner. The former is bay fronted, and like the hallway and dining room, has richly toned stripped wood flooring underfoot, to compliment the monochrome walls and ceilings. It’s easy to imagine settling down here for movie night with the kids.

Directly behind sits the capacious kitchen diner. The kitchen part is kitted out with sleek fitted units and work surfaces, as well as tiled floor and splashbacks, whilst the dining part is the ideal spot for the family to gather at mealtimes. From both parts you can access the rear sun room, which in turn leads to the garden, whilst this floor is rounded off by the ground floor WC...

The upper two floors house the four bedrooms. On the first floor are three bedrooms (two doubles and one single), each again featuring those beautiful stripped floorboards, as indeed does the three piece family bathroom. Ascend to the second floor and you’ll discover the master bedroom, complete with en suite shower room – an oasis of calm to escape to at the end of a busy day.

Outside there is a private rear garden awaiting your green fingers, with a patio area for al fresco dining.

Living Here... - What a great location this house enjoys. How about a game of tennis at Abbotts Park (it’s literally on your doorstep)? After that you deserve a coffee, so head down to Leyton Midland station and grab a cup of Joe at Perky Blenders - they serve some of the best in East London.

The many pubs and eateries on Francis Road and the High Road itself are a short stroll away and offer the perfect excuse (if an excuse is needed!) to indulge in some great food and wind down with a glass of wine or cold bottle of beer. Westfield is just a short bus or tube journey away, where you can hit a shop or two, catch a film at the cinema or enjoy a meal at one of many excellent restaurants. If you want to go slightly further afield, then the excellent local transport links mean you are just a hop, skip and a jump from central London (which is also very convenient for the daily commute).

So, whatever you are planning, be it fun or work, this wonderful house is ideally located.

In This Area... - Leyton is home to the only shop that can be seen from space. OK, that′s not entirely true, but the carnival shop on the High Road is definitely bright. There′s no way you′ll miss this multi coloured wonder, it looks like it′s made of Lego. The shop sits opposite Coronation Gardens, a beautiful park with a little maze, pond and fountain. The High Road is also home to the Leyton Technical, a lovely pub that occupies the ground floor of the old town hall. It has good beer, good food, and the longest walk to the toilet you′ll ever find. If you like beer, Leyton is the place for you, as both Brodie′s Beers and Signature Brew (voted UK Brewery Business of the Year 2018) are based in E10. Sidmouth Park, just behind the carnival shop, is a hit with kids as there′s loads of stuff to play on. If you are hungry or thirsty, wander to Francis Road and you′ll find a bucket load of nice cafes, including Yardarm, Marmelo Kitchen, and Albert & Francis, as well as an increasingly interesting range of shops and businesses, from books to yoga, and flowers to gifts. There’s even a friendly estate agency there...
