What The Owner Says: - "We moved into the house in December 1996 as only the second owners. The builder built this house for himself and as we understand built several houses in the area but chose the best site for himself. We have the largest West facing garden in the road as houses from 3 onwards loose garden because of the copse behind. It has been a very happy fun house as I am sure you feel as you walk around. I love the garden and have worked continuously on it over the years planting fruit trees, bushes and a fun lawn area with daisies for grandchildren to hide in. Greenhouse is fun as during summer have been able to supply tomatoes to friends and neighbours as well as ourselves. Also a willow arch started which I planted in 2019. It is a great party house as every year we had a Christmas party and at least 2 summer parties with anything between 40 in winter and 80 people in summer. All the internal doors are original and because we made an arch from kitchen into dining room there is a spare original door in garage. The Hall banister is beautiful and the side was from a design in House Beautiful. Luckily my husband was a French Polisher and was responsible for how it looks. Buses good as we have three buses very close, in fact I can leave home with 2 minutes to catch the bus I want. One is very useful as goes straight to Brighton Marina and the other two into city. Also plenty of room for cars, mine is quite large but fits easily into garage and then 2 further cars on drive. The original loft space has been floored and Son of builder had a large train set fitting on a table at least 3 metres x 3 metres. Plus lots of storage. There’s Plenty of room to build further bedrooms and bathroom up there. I have very good neighbours, in fact with Covid and lockdown we met up for drinks at Christmas and Easter on drive of one of houses for drinks as that way we were able to keep a safe distance. Woodingdean has lots of lovely walks which has been good whilst in lockdown. Now it is time for me to move nearer to one of my Sons and start another exciting adventure."
