Description

Enjoying incredible far reaching views, located on a tranquil country lane and set in a beautifully landscaped 0.12 acre plot - a distinctive and individual three storey detached house with no chain

Comment from Robert Reed of Gascoigne Halman

When it comes to a spectacular view, this unique one off house is difficult to better - a breathtakingly good aspect which is one of the best in Cheshire, incorporating the surrounding countryside, Cheshire Plain, Welsh and Bickerton Hills. it occupies one of the most sought after positions in the west of the county, on prestigious Tirley Lane, where properties rarely come to the market.

The property is situated on the site of an older dwelling which was demolished in order for Stone Cottage to be created. The new house was completed in 2010 using an outstanding array of high grade natural building materials. The original owner / builder built with a remarkable and meticulous eye for detail. Indeed, the quality of the build was recognised by the award of the 2011 LABC Building Excellence Awards offering Best Individual Dwelling to Stone Cottage.

The house is constructed of facing sandstone with sandstone headers and lintels, dormers, bronze windows and a chimney stack with stone copings under a slate roof. The quality of the internal fitments includes hardwood and tiled floors, bespoke kitchen units with Corian and limestone surfaces, Kuppersbusch appliances and Heritage Sanitary ware in the bathrooms.

Internally the accommodation is very versatile. The bespoke kitchen is comprehensively equipped whilst the living/dining room can be utilised for a number of different purposes. The lower ground floor has separate access so would make an ideal for annexe or holiday let accommodation.

Stone Cottage is entered via a sliding electronically operated security gates that secures a stylish Yorkstone driveway that provides off road parking for approximately seven vehicles. To the front is a further Yorkstone with lawn surrounds and stone steps leading to the front pedestrian gate. The side and rear areas of garden have been beautifully landscaped to an exceptional standard and the external area as a whole enjoys superb levels of seclusion and privacy. A truly wonderful stone wall has been constructed whilst there is a further area of lawn to the rear and a raised decking platform which really takes in the aspect.

Other features of note include installed CCTV, undercroft parking, a raised terrace platform and an external summer house with slated roof, incorporating cloakroom. This has potential to be used as outside office or leisure space.

It should be noted that the photographs used in these details both internally and externally are taken from the last few years.

With great walks on the doorstep and a position hard to better, I really would encourage you to view this super one off buying opportunity.
