Description

Surrounded by countryside and in a tranquil location, this delightful semi-detached cottage is well presented and offers driveway parking, a spectacular garden and a small collection of outbuildings

Comment from Robert Reed of Gascoigne Halman

This lovely cottage boasts numerous characterful features from the farmhouse style wooden doors, exposed brick, wooden beams or the charming arch window in the main bedroom enjoying beautiful views. These views surround the home and take in some of Cheshire‘s most beautiful countryside. The lanes and footpaths on the doorstep provide excellent walking routes. The cottage also enjoys a most spectacular garden, of fantastic colour, maturity and beauty.

Thanks to a sizeable extension, the home now offers plenty of living space with a practical layout. The ground floor consists of two reception rooms, currently used as a living room and dining room, as well as a fully fitted kitchen that houses a range of units in excellent condition and a separate utility space. On the first floor can be found two double bedrooms and the family shower-room. Features of note include a boiler installed the last three years, superb bespoke windows from Hurst Joinery in Frodsham and much of the flooring in the house sourced from John Lewis.

Externally is where this home really shines, the front offers a gravel driveway for off-road parking with a courtyard garden whilst the back garden is of great size. This space that has been adapted to suit different interests whether that?s the mature flora, small pond and bedding areas for keen gardeners or the fitted fences / pens for animal lovers looking to keep chickens or ducks and enjoy fresh eggs for breakfast. The owners have also fitted two really useful timber framed outbuildings, both of which have been fitted out for use as garden offices.

For a personal description of the please contact myself or a member of the team at the Tarporley office.
