Description

Meadow Road, Wokingham

Sellers View ...

Initially, we rented the house for 12 months when first moving here from London. After falling in love with the house and location, we were lucky enough to get the opportunity to buy it. After making only some minor improvements, it has been our happy home for almost 19 years now. With the station being only a 7-8 minute to walk away, commuting to London (or Gatwick) was extremely convenient. As was walking the dog as Emm Brook is only 2 minutes away. The children especially loved how quick and easy it was to walk to school or town to meet friends, without relying on the mum and dad taxi service.

The neighbours are all polite and lovely and most have been here much longer than us.

We have so many happy memories full of laughter, the children still don’t want to see the house sold (even though they have all moved on now), they loved having a garden big enough to have several friends come over and set up tents in the garden. And having a downstairs study with a separate back room for the kids made covid far more bearable for the adults.

But after now taking early retirement, it‘s time to find a smaller place and let a new family benefit from the convenience and further potential this home offers.

I‘m not sure I can add much more than what is said above, but for my part, I feel so privileged to be marketing this amazing family home, it‘s situated in a wonderful location being so close to Wokingham town centre and within short proximity to some amazing primary and secondary schools. For a family looking to upsize this is the house for you, flexible living accommodation, great bedroom sizes, refitted bathroom and ensuite, not to forget the most amazing garden. I honestly can‘t remember seeing a garden this big being so close to town, the kids will love it. You won‘t want to miss out.
