Description

An impeccably presented five bedroom, four bathroom individual detached house, set in a plot of circa 0.33 acre and enjoying views to the rear, ample parking and both a triple and double garage

Comment from Robert Reed of Gascoigne Halman

Blackberry Cottage is an absolute delight. Built by its current owners, this was a home constructed with modern family design in mind. They endeavoured to make sure the home was tastefully developed to the highest standard and this personal touch can be seen throughout the home.

The plot has been thoughtfully designed offering ample parking to the front on the large gravel drive, along with a double and triple garage for additional parking or storage. The double garage is presently laid out as a home gymnasium. To the rear there is a lovely lawned garden that enjoys views over a fields and an impressive patio and decking area, great for entertaining or relaxing year round.

The internal layout also capitalises on these great views to the rear with a delightful open plan living space that runs the full width of the house including a kitchen, dining and lounge area and enjoying bi-fold doors onto the patio. Adjoining this space is a fully fitted utility and useful pantry cupboard for storage.

The ground floor also comprises of a large formal living roon room which features a log burner and bay window as well as a charming additional reception room currently used as a dining room but providing flexibility to suit different lifestyles. The first floor has been intelligently designed and boasts five double bedrooms, three enjoying en-suites, and a family bathroom, all of which are fully tiled.

Kingsley is a great village with a strong sense of community spirit and increasingly good amenities the state of the art co-op convenience store being a good example. This house offers superb value - I can not think of another house with five bedrooms, a triple and double garage and open views that is presently for sale at under a million pounds. Come and see, you will be impressed!
