Description

Set in a super plot of just under a fifth of an acre, rich in period character and enjoying a distinctive, handsome and impressive appearance, 2000 square semi detached house with driveway and garage
Comment from Robert Reed of Gascoigne Halman

For many years, the talent show known as the X Factor dominated the Saturday night TV schedules. The format tried to identify someone special who had a substantial talent and a presence that almost couldnt be described, but put it all together, it was just a brilliant combination. It is no different with property! And its not even about price. Some houses have a special combination of features, a super plot, strong aesthetic appeal and most importantly of all, a wonderful atmosphere.

This handsome and special double fronted semi detached period residence has all of these features has that magical X Factor. Only when you view it will you fully recognise what I mean.

The house is very spacious, being spread over three floors and totalling circa 2000 square feet of accommodation. This gives huge flexibility, with five reception rooms, four bedrooms and two stylish bathrooms (one of which is actually a shower room). But the features and character are what stand out the most to me. All you could want is here! Bay windows, coved ceilings, superb wooden doors, a beautiful pitch pine staircase, feature fireplaces, ceiling roses, stripped and varnished wooden flooring, feature bathrooms, picture rails and a host of other features are all on display. It is a most wonderful warm and inviting home.

Externally there is a super plot of around 0.20 acre with off road parking to the front and a long rear garden, split into different areas and enjoying excellent levels of establishment and privacy. Whilst providing an obvious place for children to play, it is also ideal for al fresco dining and party gatherings. At the far end is a detached garage and additional access point. This would be a perfect area for a versatile garden lodge.

See if this home works for you and if so, you can watch the x factor from a home with the x factor!
