Description

With no chain, a charming and delightful four reception room, three bedroom, two bathroom detached Grade II listed farmhouse with walled garden, set in a central location between Chester and Tarporley

Comment from Robert Reed of Gascoigne Halman
Duddon is a very popular area located equidistant between Chester and Tarporley. There is a consistent demand for family homes, not least as within walking distance of the house there is a highly regarded Church of England Primary School.

The house is offered for sale with no ongoing chain and is offered at a very competitive price. As you pull into the courtyard, there is a small set of attractive converted barns, these are not included within the sale, but do provide the benefit of a small community and good security on the doorstep. The subject property for sale has four parking spaces and a lovely private south facing walled garden.

The present owner has invested extensive capital expenditure into the house and spent considerable time refurbishing it in a sympathetic manner. Externally the house has an idyllic, chocolate box appearance and the house is packed with character, charm and original features. Other features of note include a Clearview multi fuel log burner, feature fireplaces, beamed ceilings and much recent redecoration throughout the house.

At ground floor there are four reception rooms, plus a well planned kitchen, boot room and utility / cloakroom.

Internally there is lots of space and unusually for a house at this price point, there is a very large en-suite bathroom to the master bedroom in addition to a family shower room that serves the other two bedrooms. This shower room also houses a delightful steam room feature in its shower.

For a personal description of the property or to arrange a viewing, please contact myself or a member of the team at the Tarporley office.
