Description

An established, improved, extended bungalow is located around a seven-minute walk to the busy High Street in Cherry Hinton, where you can find most things for daily living.

A spacious hall leads to all rooms, including a sitting/dining room. This room is wonderfully light with dual-aspect windows, a feature fireplace, and doors leading to the conservatory/garden room.

The kitchen/breakfast room has modern fitted units and work surfaces, plumbing for washing machines and dishwashers, and space for further appliances. It also has a modern wall-mounted gas-fired boiler.

There are three double bedrooms. Bedroom 1 views the garden and benefits from a generous three-piece en-suite shower room. A further stylish, re-fitted bathroom suite comprises a panelled bath with shower and screen over, wash basin with storage under, wc and tiled walls.

To the front, there is a block drive leading to the attached single garage. The rear garden has a sunny, west-facing aspect with a leafy, tree-lined border. It is mainly lawn with mature flower and shrub borders and a paved terrace.

Material Information report can be viewed by clicking on the brochure link.

Cherry Hinton Hall is a lovely riverside public park, full of mature trees and fun playgrounds and a summertime paddling pool that imprints on the childhood memories of anyone who grows up round here.

At the east edge of the village is a high-tech employment centre set around the historic Fulbourn Hospital site, known as Capital Park presumably because of all the capital that gets made there. The Addenbrookes Campus and associated biotech cleverness is about 1.5 miles away. Cambridge central station is 2.5 miles with the city centre beyond. All thoroughly cyclable if youre not a fan of forming traffic jams.

Being on the south-east edge of the city, you can also very easily head out into the countryside, over Lime Kiln hill to the Gogs golf club, Beechwoods, the ancient Roman Road, and Wandlebury beyond, or towards Fulbourn and its nature reserve.

Call it Hairy Chinton and, should there be any doubt, you can easily prove to those around you how amusing you can be.
