Description

Set in a little under ten acres, enjoying wonderful rural views and magnificent landscaped grounds, an inspirational and award winning architectural modern masterpiece that excels in every regard.
Comment from Robert Reed of Gascoigne Halman

If ever a property is going to make you stop and say wow, this is it!
Set in just under ten acres, this award winning and unique architectural masterpiece is a truly exceptional example of high quality modern build, approached via a secure electronically gated 200 meter private driveway.

It successfully delivers uncompromising quality and contemporary excellence which is embedded with eco efficient credentials. The design, attention to detail and layout were all created with family occupation in mind and the setting is ideal, being private, mature and established yet also being within just a few miles of both the City centre of Chester and Tarporley village.

The house was constructed in 2016 and attached to a converted barn. It won the North West local authority building excellence award and comes with a sophisticated biomass heating system and heat recovery system in order to reduce annual running costs. With ten years remaining of the Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive the utility costs are likely to be no more than £500 a year for the remaining period. Given the size and scale of the house, this is truly remarkable.

In total, all parts extend to 6651 square feet and there are gorgeous building materials in evidence throughout that include oak, glass, reclaimed exposed brick, top grade hand made kitchen and bathrooms and superb bespoke fitted furniture.

The floorplan demonstrates the sheer scale of the accommodation, which has amazing versatility and best in class design, with consistent linking throughout of the landscaped gardens and land, being clearly visible from the house. It is important to stress that this is also a delightful family home that is warm, inviting, light and appealing from the moment you set through the door. All needs are catered for with a guest suite section, ground floor shower room, designated home office, amazingly proportioned reception rooms, a bespoke kitchen, multiple en suites and an integral double garage with an electronically mechanised opening system.

This is also a property that is great fun! The principal bedroom suite has an incredible roof terrace whilst externally the BBQ hut / external entrainment area has a hot tub, outdoor kitchen, designated seating area, bar, wood burning stove and Indian stone terrace. Its the perfect space for gatherings of family and friends. The formal gardens have been professionally landscaped, offering a vegetable and herb garden, artificial playing surface for sports, whilst the paddocks are suitable for grazing of animals, if required.

Great Barrow and a great great property, which we are honoured to offer for sale.
