SELLERS COMMENTS
The moment I walked into the flat for my first viewing, it felt like home. I knew there were things I wanted to change, but I loved the big sash windows looking out over all the trees and green spaces. I loved the spaciousness of the living room and the bedroom that could actually fit my enormous, super king bed.

Over the years, Ive redone the kitchen to give me even more working- and storage space, especially for cooking and baking supplies. The great range cooker I installed as part of the kitchen revamp means I can make a full roast dinner for friends and family without having to juggle everything in one oven. The dream!

I also redid the bathroom, adding new basin and loo, and extra storage, so everything could be tucked neatly away. The full-size tub is great for a long bubble bath, while the shower attachment is handy for a quick shower.

Ive got new louvre blinds for the living room, which let the light stream in, but also keep the flat lovely and cool when its been so warm. The new engineered wooden floors are a dream to keep clean.

Having previously dealing with an awful management company who took a lot of money to do very little, the other owners in a building and I bought the freehold and now manage the property ourselves. Weve recently redecorated and recarpeted the entrance halls and stairway, so it looks fresh and bright.

Living in Crystal Palace is also fantastic! There are great pubs, bars, restaurants and takeaways, and even local food markets on the weekend (one practically on my doorstep), serving an incredible array of choices, from classic pub fare to Persian, Korean, Venezuelan, Turkish, Caribbean, Italian, Asian fusion, and the best burgers in London (IMO, anyway). And thats before you get to all the delightful independent shops (including a new oldie worldlier sweet shop), art galleries, a fantastic Everyman cinema and several handy supermarkets and veggie shops.

And did I mention the dinosaurs? Crystal Palace Park is home to some historic Grade 1 listed Dinosaur sculptures, not to mention the concert bowl and so much gorgeous parkland. Its a great place to spend a lazy, sunny afternoon.
