Description

A beautiful period house in excellent condition with south facing garden, terrific two storey annexe, double garage, workshop and walking distance proximity to pub restaurants, church and school

Comment from Robert Reed of Gascoigne Halman
Bunbury is hugely popular and as soon as you visit this village, it quickly becomes apparent why. In many ways this is the classic unspoilt Cheshire village which combines an extensive array of day to day amenities combined with walking distance proximity to glorious open countryside.

The house itself is a period residence of distinctive quality and striking aesthetic appeal which has been subject to considerable capital expenditure and improvement in the last ten years and in the last eighteen months has had a refitted en suite and bathroom, new external decoration new boundary fencing and internal decoration.

The house combines period features and traditional charm with tasteful contemporary additions and an ideal layout that delivers both open plan areas and separate breakout spaces. It is an ideal family home.

The annexe, which is within the same building has a huge range of potential uses which include short term let potential, an ideal base for visitors or indeed using it as additional space for day to day family life. The overall size of the house is 2638 square feet.

Externally there is a south facing garden, principally laid to lawn, driveway parking and a double garage that incorporates a workshop.

For a personal description of the property or to arrange a viewing, please contact myself or a member of the team at the Tarporley office.

Accommodation & Dimensions

As detailed on the floorplan

The natural beauty and history of the village is perfectly encapsulated by St Boniface Church, an architecturally stunning building that dates back over 1,000 years. The Church is very well supported, has an active congregation, with many community events regularly organised.

The nearby village of Tarporley and cultural city of Chester provides a wider range of amenities and the whole area is well placed for the business traveller with many commercial centres including Manchester, Liverpool, Crewe, Warrington and Nantwich, all being found within comfortable commuting distance. Nearby road links include the A49, A483, M6, M56 and M53, also of note is Crewe Railway Station (20 minutes drive) and Manchester and Liverpool Airports, both located within reasonable travelling time.
