Description

"During our time here, we have raised our family. It was helpful having a school nearby and a short walk to the local park. Over time we have seen the local community develop with cafes, the deli and green grocer that we visit regularly. We have enjoyed browsing in ‘These Two Hands’ shop where local craft people sell their products, including pottery and skin care. We have a lovely view of the Bristol skyline from the master bedroom and are able to watch golden sunsets over the city."

Winchester Road is a road of terraced Victorian houses located between Wick Road and the Bath Road. The area is just a short walk to shops and the amenities of Sandy Park Road and Wells Road, with popular independents such as the Deli @ Sandy Park, Kin and with Bocabar at Paintworks and Avonmeads Retail Park close by. Across South Bristol, the shops and amenities of North Street can be easily reached, whilst Church Road and the bars and shops of St George are also within reach to the north. Also close by is Arnos Court Park and Nightingale Valley, which provide a great area for runners and dog-walkers, while those looking for more of an escape from the city, the proximity of the nearby Wells Road allows ease of access to North East Somerset and Chew Valley. A huge draw to the area is that semi-rural feel when venturing out towards Conham River Park, Eastwood Farm, and the ever-popular Beeses that sits overlooking the river Avon or take the Bath Road out towards Bath and enjoy a visit to Flourish Café & Farm Shop. For commuters, this area is very well placed, just a short distance from Bristol City Centre and Bristol Temple Meads Station. The popular Holymead Primary School is a street away, making the location ideal for young families.

A mid terrace Victorian house which has been a much loved family home with a kitchen extension. The house has a good sized reception room at the front with bay window and a second reception/play room in the middle of the house with exposed brick fireplace. The rear of the house is home to a spacious kitchen diner with plenty of units and doors onto the rear garden. Upstairs there are three double bedrooms and a family bathroom. The sunny rear garden is paved and a great space for summer BBQ’s.
