Description

"This house has been in our family for over 5 decades and has been the setting for many happy times. We got married whilst living here and raised our son here. We’ve celebrated birthdays, Christmases and hosted many dinner parties. I think you can feel the welcome, the contentment and the warmth in its atmosphere, when you walk through the door.
The garden has a gate into Nightingale Valley, making you feel as though you are in the countryside even though we’re in the heart of the city. We’ve spent many happy hours watching the birds, squirrels and foxes in the garden. On warm summer mornings it feels blissful to lie in bed with the balcony doors open and listen to the wood pigeons cooing. On warm summer evenings its perfect to drink G&T’s on the deck.
This is a home not just a house."

Woodcroft Close is a quiet cul-de-sac of houses located in the pocket between Wick Road and Birchwood Road and backing onto Nightingale Valley. The area is just a short walk to shops and the amenities of Sandy Park Road, with popular independents such as the Deli @ Sandy Park, Kin. The Langton pub, Hop Union and Lost & Grounded taprooms are also within easy walking distance. Also close by is Eastwood Farm, which provides a great area for runners and dog-walkers, while those looking for more of an escape from the city, the proximity of the nearby Wells Road allows ease of access to North East Somerset, Chew Valley and the Mendip Hills. A huge draw to the area is that semi-rural feel when venturing out towards Conham River Park, Arnos Vale, and the ever-popular Beeses that sits overlooking the river Avon. For commuters, this area is very well placed, just a short distance from Bristol City Centre and Bristol Temple Meads Station. The popular Broomhill Primary School is close by, making the location ideal for young families.

A semi-detached home set back from the road with off street parking and a wonderful garden that backs onto Nightingale Valley. The house has been renovated and extended by the current owners and is in a beautiful condition throughout. Downstairs there are three living areas which could also be used as a playroom/study area and a kitchen/diner which overlooks the garden. Upstairs there are four bedrooms, 3 doubles, one with an ensuite bathroom and a further family bathroom. The garden is one of the best in Bristol, a generous size with mature shrubs and trees and backing onto Nightingale Valley means an abundance of wildlife and birds as well as being tranquil and peaceful.
