Description

7 Mill Wharf, The property with a bit of it all! If Waterside living appeals to you then look no further. Waverton has long been one of Chester's favourite villages with professionals and families alike and there is no sign of this changing. You have everything you need in this picturesque village including a village hall which hosts a variety of activities and interest groups. The doctor's surgery and the monthly cinema are held here and to the side is the playing field and children's play park where the village fete is held. The canal is even closer to home for some beautiful daytime or sunset walks, jogging or cycling and you can walk to the city in around an hour. There are a variety of golf courses within a short drive with the Eaton Golf Club being on the edge of the village. There is also an excellent choice of hotel-based health clubs and spas and a gym and pool at the high School. There are also equestrian facilities locally.

It is fair to say the property itself enjoys an enviable setting right in the heart of the village. The Mill Wharf complex could be rightly described as being peaceful, pleasant and with natural surroundings. There are other waterside complexes but where Mill Wharf wins is with the no car policy in the heart of the development which is where you will be living. It looks fantastic!

On the ground floor you will find a Family room where kitchen, dining and lounge areas combine so you can spend more time with those that really matter. This arrangement works really well for your friends and Family gatherings just as it does for everyday life. Glazed French doors open onto your patio which overlooks the mooring and flows around to the back of the lounge where there is an elevated sitting area. Steps lead down to the water side and here you will find a variety of mature and colourful plants and shrubs. You follow this pathway around to your mooring and bench style sitting area. You will own the path that runs along the side of the mooring and the bench that is adjacent to the steps that lead up and onto the communal area of the development.

The lounge is a good size and enjoys a pleasant outlook over the canal. Finishing the ground floor accommodation is the cloakroom/WC.

Moving onto the first-floor landing and the master bedroom will be to your immediate left. It is a spacious bedroom that enjoys a particularly pleasing outlook over the canal and the countryside. There are built in wardrobes and glass shelving, while a side facing window looks over the development and helps bring in the natural light. There are white painted shutters and they make this bedroom look special.

The ensuite comprises of a shower enclosure with a glazed sliding door and a thermostatic shower with chrome controls set in the tiling. A wall hung basin allows for more of the tiling to be seen and helps to create a more spacious feel.

Bedroom 3 is also found on this floor and is a good-sized double with a pleasant outlook over the heart of this lovely waterside development.

The bathroom features a glazed and tiled shower cubicle with glazed double doors and an electric shower. A deep panelled bath with a chrome mixer tap mid-way, a wash basin with chrome mixer tap and a WC with water saving options makes up the suite. The tiling was certainly the right choice and the recessed lighting brings this lovely bathroom to life.

Returning to the landing and it is worth a mention that there is an airing cupboard and an impressive staircase that runs to the top floor landing where you will find a space that might be suited for a chair or for some display furniture. There is a sSkylight window here and the natural light really flows in and down onto the first floor landing below. A timber door opens to bedroom two which features a pitched ceiling with exposed timbers. There is a further skylight window and a side facing window with white painted shutters. This spacious bedroom benefits from eaves storage to both sies of the room.

7 Mill Wharf is something of a rarity and one we strongly recommend you really have to see. With this lovely waterside home, the complex and the village, you have something special that rarely comes to market.
