Samphire Sands is a unique and beautiful coastal home set on the narrow strip of land between Poole Harbour and the golden sandy beaches of Sandbanks.

About The Location

Recognised as one of the world’s most exclusive places to live, Sandbanks enjoys international fame for its spectacular waterfront properties and award-winning sandy beaches.

Miles of golden sand and crystal-clear water is matched only by the impressive expanse of Poole Harbour – the largest of its kind in Europe, and the second largest in the world. Whilst the sheltered beach attracts sunbathers and swimmers, the harbour is world-famous for its watersports, whether that’s sailing, windsurfing, paddleboarding or kitesurfing.

Just a short boat trip away lies Brownsea Island, a historic haven of lush woodland, expansive heathland and wildlife-rich lagoons. And then there’s the magnificent Jurassic Coastline and Purbeck countryside, which is easily accessible via the Chain Ferry.

For eating out, the wonderful Rick Stein’s restaurant and The Tandy wine bar and restaurant, both located next to our office’s, serves beautiful food and drink, and across the bay you’ll find the exclusive Pig On the Beach and Shell Bay fish restaurant.

Lilliput and Canford Cliffs village are also nearby, and equidistant between the town centres of Bournemouth and Poole, which offer a wealth of shopping, entertainment and recreational facilities. Championship golf is available at Parkstone Golf Course and other local highly regarded clubs at Ferndown and Broadstone and further afield at Remedy Oak.

Arts are an important aspect of Poole's creativity and heritage and the area has a strong, developing arts scene. The Lighthouse, which is Poole’s Centre for the Arts is the largest regional centre in the UK and home to the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. Local venues have regularly hosted acclaimed theatre productions as well as high-profile music concerts. Other theatres available are The Pavilion in Bournemouth and concert & comedy performances venue with the BIC.

Commuting to London is very convenient with main line stations at Bournemouth and Poole offering regular services to London Waterloo.
